Pitcher & Company builds software and runs e-commerce operations for its own family of companies. The products we sell were built because we needed them first. The services we offer are the ones we use every day.
01Products
Identity and age verification for regulated e-commerce.
Merchants shipping firearms parts, alcohol, cannabis or other age-restricted goods have to know who is receiving the order. ShipToVerified checks a government-issued photo ID against the shipping address, then holds or releases the order automatically.
We built it because our own stores needed it. It runs in live merchant storefronts every day.
- The merchant sets the rule. Which orders need a check — by state, by product, by value. Not every order.
- The customer verifies after checkout. They upload a photo ID on the confirmation page. Payment has already gone through.
- The order releases or holds. Name, age and address are matched against the order, and the result is stored with it.

Signed up on a Wednesday, verifying live orders the following Tuesday. We coordinated the install with their hosting provider, their own team wrote the matching rules, and nothing in their checkout changed.
